Governance and the Â鶹ŮÀÉ’ Company
The Worshipful Company of Â鶹ŮÀÉ of the Fraternity of St John Baptist in the City of London (the Company) founded the school in 1561 and the Â鶹ŮÀÉ’ Educational Trust continues to be responsible to the Court of the Company for ensuring the due governance of Â鶹ŮÀÉ’ School.
The Governing Body brings together representatives of the Â鶹ŮÀÉ’ Company, alongside leading figures from education, the professions, business, and the local community, together with the Chairman of the Old Â鶹ŮÀÉ’ Society. Meetings are also attended by the Head Master, the Head of Â鶹ŮÀÉ’ Prep School, the Bursar, some members of the Senior Leadership Team, and a representative of the teaching staff. The close relationship between the Â鶹ŮÀÉ’ Company and the School has underpinned our success for 460 years, and it is our most earnest wish that this partnership will continue to flourish for generations to come.
For those with an interest in joining the Board, or for those wishing to make contact with Governors this should be through the Clerk to Governors, Edward Valletta, on clerk@mtsn.org.uk in the first instance.
